The Co-founder
It All Began with a Tree
In the courtyard of our family home in Gyumri stood an old mulberry tree. We spent our childhood beneath its branches, surrounded by family and countless memories.
When the tree was cut down, we wanted to preserve its story and give the wood a new life.
Two Brothers, One Vision
We are two brothers, Babken and Davit.
Babken’s experience in design and Davit’s expertise in jewelry craftsmanship came together around one idea: to create wooden eyewear with character, meaning, and soul.
In 2014, we began our first experiments—exploring the possibilities of wood, testing different constructions, and refining every stage of the process.
In 2016, Twinz was founded.
Design Rooted in Nature
The name Twinz represents the unity of two brothers.
Today, every Twinz frame is designed and handcrafted in Gyumri. We combine natural materials, contemporary design, modern technology, and the precision of skilled craftsmanship.
Each layer of wood has its own grain, tone, and texture, making every Twinz frame truly unique.
The Path We Chose
We carefully select every material, refine every detail, and dedicate as much time as needed to achieve the best possible result.
For us, this is more than production. It is a conscious choice to create durable, comfortable, and distinctive eyewear for people who care about their health and the environment, appreciate unique design, and believe that handmade objects carry a soul.
